oh wow. I am so in love with this ring, I don't think I will ever take it off. it is real Sterling Silver. My skin can tarnish true gold. so if it's not real within 15 minutes on my finger I'd see green no matter what has been done to the ring to prevent this. the only metal i don't tarnish is Sterling Silver. I wore this for 8 hours. I did dishes with it on. played with dough. cooked, had oil on it. washed my hands. numerous times during this evening. no green. the ring is still completely perfect.
